Patient Review 1:

Dr. Castronovo was so nice and very gentle when performing my exam. I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year so I needed some additional cleaning. I was told up front what the cost would be so I could give approval for them to proceed with treatment. The entire staff was very nice and did a great job to dealing with my dental anxiety. I HATE going to the dentist and this was the best experience I have ever had. I have a follow up appointment in December and I can't wait to go back!

About Hygienist: The Hygienist was great too! The additional cleaning I needed went really quick and wasn't painful at all. I feel bad that I can't remember her name but she was spectacular!

The entire staff-from the front desk to the back chair-is friendly, polite, anf professional. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, and really listen to what you have to say. I have already referred both my mother and father in law, and would recommend them to anyone living in the Spring area.

The only inconveniences are their work day hours and not being open on Saturdays, so I have to take time off of work to go. But...it's worth it.

I have had regular cleanings with them and the doctor and staff are great. They are very gentle and explain everything thoroughly. The office is really clean and front desk staff is awesome! They give you all prices up front and there is no confusion about paperwork like other places. I never thought I'd say this, but going to the dentist is relaxing now!

I went by on a whim and have been SO pleased! Now my son is going and soon my husband will be a patient. They are so professional, the office is very clean and everyone is so nice. They make follow-up calls and appt. confirmation calls- ALWAYS. They give you a print-out with all costs before hand and don't treat you poorly if you decide you cannot fulfill the treatment plan all at once. I just have nothing bad to say about Dr. Castronovo and her associates.

If you think going to the dentist has to be something you dread.....think again. I stumbled across Dr. Castronovos office purely by chance while searching the internet. Every encounter I have had with this office whether by phone or in person has been a delight. From the soothing colors in the waiting room, to the sparkling clean equipment, the office is a visual treat. You feel much more like you are in someones home than a dental office. The people Dr. Castronovo has hired to work for her are really a cut above. Each and every one of them is kind and attentive, beyond what is required.

I asked a LOT of really dumb questions about cost and procedures(as I was worried about BOTH) and they treated me like ROYALTY, instead of breaking into gales of laughter over my ridiculous inquiries.

They were punctual, professional and KIND. This entire experience was exceptional. If every dental office was run this way, people would NOT fear the experience.

Do not hesitate to check this team of pros out.

I have had two cleanings and check ups with Dr. Castronovo since moving to the area. In between that time I had an urgent need when I cracked a tooth. They took me in immediately! I needed a crown. They were able to fit me in that day. I was very nervous but they may me feel at ease. I felt no discomfort during the procedure. They made the crown in the office in less than 30 minutes. There was no temporary crown at all! The staff and hygienists are very nice and again, made me feel comfortable and relaxed. They employ state of the art equipment as well. This is not the dental experience of our childhood! I highly recommend Dr. Castronovo!

We have a dentist around the corner from our residence. We drive twenty miles one way for these folks instead.They are the nicest,down to earth folks you could encounter.They will work with you financially any way they can and both my boys and wife love them .

We are fortunate to have found these guys...!!! My older son had a problem on the weekend and they took care of it and called to check on him..Can't ask for better service.and yes Tammy is awesome too...and she loves to collect refrigerator magnets so bring em on...we brought her two from Boston..

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. The facilities are pleasant and warm. And Dr. Castronovo feels like a friend. I am normally very nervous about dental work, but I felt very secure with her. Had two crowns in two weeks, and each one was completed in one visit! Amazing, state-of-the-art equipment. This is the first time I was completely relaxed in the dental chair, and never felt the first bit of pain. I took my Ipod and used my earphones and was surprised when it was over because it seemed to go by quickly. I wish I had found her years ago.

Dr. Castronovo replaced my back tooth with a cerec crown--I did not have to wear a temp crown for a week or two before I got my permanent crown--AWESOME! The staff even showed me how my new tooth was being made--it was a neat experience. Real state of the art--in fact the whole office uses the latest equipment and the office is as clean as a health spa :)

I am really scared to go to the dentist, but the whole staff was so nice and reassuring that I really didnt feel a thing--even when Dr. Castronovo was giving me shots and numbing my mouth, I kept bracing myself for the sting of impact, but it never came.

If anyone out there is nervous about going to the dentist I think you should check Dr. Castronovo's office out. They will pamper you and you wont even realize that you have just been to the dentist!

My family has gone to Dr. Castronovo for quite some time now and the crew there has always been super wonderful. Whenever I come in, I always have at least one of my children with me and the staff is always really great to us. But, I wanted to speak of a particular incident. I came in for some work recently with my 3 year old son. The procedure was kind of lengthly, so it would have been difficult for him to entertain himself. Tammy was working that day taking care of me. Mouth wide open, drill going and my son peers over me with a third eye taped to his forehead!!! All I could do was bust out laughing! Tammy had taken the time during my entire visit to make sure my son was entertained and well taken care of. Tammy truely made a difference for us and I thank her for it! I really do appreciate how the staff looks at BOTH of us as the patient (because we come as a package).

My children really enjoy going to their office as a visitor and a patient! Thanks again

Wow.. I was blown away! I felt like I was at a Spa for a massage. Relaxing Office! The staff treated me like I was a lifelong friend. I thought the cost was very reasonable, especially considering all the high tech equipment. It is a paperless office. Billed my insurance company for me. I basically did not have to do a thing.

PS - I am very squeamish about going to the Dentist, and going to Dr. Castronovo's office was a breeze.

I have a major phobia when it comes to "the dentist" due to bad past experiences. Dr. Castronovo and her staff are excellent.

In fact - after my appointment I immediately called my husband from the car and told him " that was the BEST dentist experience I could ever imagine". The entire staff was excellent and I'm impressed with all their latest equipment. They even handled all the insurance paperwork -all I had to do was sign it. I will be recommending Dr. Castronovo to all my friends and family.

Dr. Castronova, was very nice. Her staff was great. The office was clean. I was looking for a new dentist in the area, and I went on this site to locate one. I had a bad experience with a dentist in my youth so I'm very skeptical with trying a new dentist. I made Dr. Castronova's team aware of my bad experience with that other dentist. They understood and made me extremely comfortable. They were all so nice. Her office has the latest technology. The appointment was smooth and I was in and out. I knew exactly what my issues were, we discussed and I made another appointment for my crowns. Dr. Castronovo has a very gentle demeanor...very very comforting.

About Hygienist: A. Barr is her name is she was wonderful. She was the president of the Dental Hygienist Associates for years. She is graduated from the U of H with her BS degree. She's through and gentle when cleaning your teeth. She is very informative as well. Dr. Castronova's team is so good all the Doc needs to do is look at your teeth and fix them. Her staff is knowledgeable and experienced.

Fantastic. This dentist is clean, courteous, and very customer service focused. They were able to tell me on the spot what procedures my insurance would cover and what it would not. I was also impressed with the advanced technology such as the TV's in the rooms that the doctors use.

I also liked that they have cut down on the paper work in the office by using erasable dry board sheets that help save the environment.

My family and I started using Dr. Castronovo 12 months ago and I am so glad that we did! We ALL love Dr. Castronovo and her entire staff! The office is very nice and the staff very attentive, what more could you ask for! The staff calls us all by name and say hello as we walk in the door, it just gives you a great feeling. Frankly, Ive always dreaded going to the Dentist mainly because of the pain normally associated with the drilling, pulling etc. Dr. Castronovo performed 3 extractions and aside from a little pressure at the beginning of the procedure I didnt feel a thing. Dr. Castronovo was simply amazing, very gentle and highly skilled!!! Her Staff and facility are first class! I've always dreaded trips to the dentist. When I moved back to Spring after college, I found a Dr. Castronovo because of her ideal location to my home at the time.

I don't think I will ever switch again.

She is continuously gentle, always quick (but not rude or abrupt), and very pleasant to visit. Additionally, I don't think I can think of a nicer staff!!

Since being a patient with Dr. Castronovo, I've had to visit another specialist to have my wisdom teeth removed. I had endless problems with the other office for 6 months after the procedure. They overcharged, lost paperwork, and often changed their story. It was simply another reminder of how awesome Klein Crossing is for me.

I've since moved downtown, and yet I still make the commute out to Spring for all my dental check ups and concerns.

Klein Crossing is worth it!!!

I have just transferrd to Dr. Castronovo's office. I have to say that I was pleased with my other dentist and swiched because they quit taking my insurance. I was recommended by a friend to see Dr. C and I can only say that I am so glad that my last dentist stopped taking my insurance. The staff and the office area there are great and are so very personable. It was great to be called by my name and they all acted like they had known me for years. That is a huge plus when going to the dentist. I just want to say that Debra and Andrea are awesome! Good choice to go to this office!

Like many other reviewers on this site, I too have had bad experiences with dentists, after moving to Houston and having to switch from my previous dentist of 21 years. Dr. Castronovo's office is no where close to where I live or work, but I thought I would give her a try, based on the reviews I found here. I was extremely glad that I did. Dr. Castronovo and her staff immediately won me over. (And that's saying a LOT because I tend to be a really picky person!) My initial visit was sort of a shock, because I wasn't used to a dentist's office being so technologically advanced! It was actually exciting to see everything they were using. Very impressive. Dr. Castronovo actually filled a small cavity for me and it literally took less than 5 minutes. Zero pain and zero discomfort! I highly recommend her and her staff.

My Family and I have lived in the Spring, Texas area for three years, relocating from the Dallas area and have visited a couple of dentists. The Dentist's were less than appealing. My wife has had horrible experiences and I was not at all pleased with the customer service at other local offices. I decided to look on the web for a dentist and came across Dr. Castronovo and made an appointment. It was amazing my last dentist said that I had four cavities and the beginnings of gum disease, which shocked me since I have only had one in my life and am in my mid thirties and felt like I had healthy gums. After going to Dr. Castronovo I found out that I had 0 cavities and healthy gums. As sad as It is; these experiences tend to make you skeptical of dentist's.

Klein crossing Dental was the best experience that I have ever had at the dentist. What a great staff and the most modern facility. You feel like you are getting a thorough examination that gives you the true picture of you're teeth and gums. I will continue to visit Dr. Castronovo and will recommend all of my family and friends.

I had been with my original Houston dentist for 13 years proir to making a change. He was in the medical center. I was tired of making the drive in so I tried a new dentist. The new dentist was terrible. I was tempted to drive back into the medical center to see my old dentist but, decided to give Dr. Melissa Castrovono a try. It's the best decision I made. She's great. I needed a crown and it was done right and pain free on the first try! My cleanings have gone very well also. My husband likes her too, and he's tougher to please than me. We both give her a thumbs up.

She's the best! I've been to several family dentist offices in the area over the years and none have been as accomodating nor as pleasant as her's. I give a lot of credit to her staff who went out of their way to assist me with less than a day's notice after I had a horrible experience following up with my wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Castronovo and her staff have made my dental experience this past year wonderful as I learned the ways of the world fresh out of college with new insurance plans and coverage. I found Dr. Castronovo through our insurance company's approved network of dentists. After researching the web, I decided to make an appointment. I am so happy with my good forturne! Dr. Castronovo is sweet, pretty, friendly - yet professional. Her entire office staff is customer friendly, professional and it's obvious they enjoy their work environment; they make an excellent team. My 22 year old son thought they were "awesome". Dr. Castronovo and her staff were absolutely OUTSTANDING in all catagories. The office is beautifully designed and decorated, high tech, and very clean. I was looking for a dentist for my family close to my home that accepted two particular types of dental insurance with an outstanding dentist and staff. I was very fortunate that I got ALL of what I was looking for with Dr. Castronovo and her staff. My family and I have definitely hit the jackpot!!!

It's been awhile since I've been to see the dentist and I'm glad I made the choice to go with Dr. Castronovo. It was a pleasant and hi-tech experience! I was more relaxed than ever and not confronted with the many issues of not having dental care for awhile as well as the high costs of getting everything done asap. Her staff is just as wonderful and reassuring as she is. I would recommend her to everyone!

Dr. C and the staff were all so friendly, pleasant, and gave outstanding customer service. She is the most gentle dentist I've ever had! I was immediately put at ease upon entering the beautifully decorated office and everyone I encountered was so nice. I will be going back for more work soon and feel confident everything will go as smoothly as my first visit today. Thanks Dr. C!!! Outstanding!!!

Awesome office. Hi-tech equipment, beautiful office, nice doctor, assistant and front desk. Prompt efficeint service-already recommended to my relatives in the area. My daughter had the best experience she could have being at the dentist for the first time. Love the office!!!
